Dr. Alicia Snow is a psychologist specializing Cognitive Behavior Therapy with individual, couples and families, and maintains a private practice in Tomball, Texas.
With over 14 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Texas A&M University. She completed her professional intership at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine, where she worked part-time with adults at Methodist and St. Lukes and part-time with children at Texas Children's Hospital. She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety and Medical Psychology (helping clients with psychological issues that arise secondary to medical diagnosis like cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes and heart disease.
In addition, Dr. Snow has presented at National conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from parenting, suffering and violence in relationships.
Dr. Snow is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. Many of Dr. Snow's clients seek her out for her abiltiy to blend Christian beliefs with conventional cognitive behavioral approaches. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals
Dr. Snow does psychological testing that includes educational evaluations as well as testing for diagnostic purposes.
